LOCAL FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND CELEBRANTS
Here are some links to some local businesses. Click on the titles to find out more.
FUNERAL DIRECTORS
There is no legal requirement to use the services of a funeral director but many families find the prospect of organising a funeral entirely without support from an undertaker very daunting, not least from a practical point of view. A middle road is to find a funeral director who will provide as much or as little help as you require. Here are some you may wish to contact for assistance.
Robert Quinn Funeral Directors
Robert and Karen Quinn, a brother and sister who are Wirral born and bred with premises based in Heswall.
Owens Funeral Services
An independent family run funeral service company based in Wallasey.
Simple Send-offs
A low-cost funeral director based on the Wirral and covering the surrounding area too.
CELEBRANTS
A funeral celebrant is someone qualified to host and officiate funeral services. As well as conducting the funeral itself, celebrants are involved in planning the order of service, music, writing the eulogy and creating a meaningful service for the person who has died. You can choose a celebrant or not depending on what you want.
Jeanette Roberts Civil Celebrant
Jeanette is a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and I conducts ceremonies throughout the North West and beyond.
Oaklands Celebrants
Denise will work with you in a way that suits you and can be as hands on or hands off as you need, and using experience, offering advice and suggestions.
